Built with expertise from high quality materials, this bag is made to endure anything you should need to put it through.
The main compartment measures 9.8"x9.8"x17.7" (25 x 25 x 45 cm) and is accessed via a large zipper opening. The interior of the lid features strips of loop for attachment of hook backed accessories. The main compartment is a single cavernous space with two mesh pockets, one in each end, to help with organizing smaller items.
The external side pouch measures 13.8"x9.1"x2" (35 x 23 x 5 cm) and is designed for quick access and organization of smaller items and A4 documents. The back wall features two flat mesh pouches and D-ring and two webbing tabs for securing valuables via dummy cord or buckles. The interior of the front wall features loop for attachment of any hook backed accessories.
The flat hook-and-loop closure external pouch measures 9.4"x7.9" (24 x 20 cm), fits A5 documents and similar smaller items.
Two 3.9"x5.9" (10 x 15 cm) fields of loop on the side and end of the bag accept most name tapes and a number of other identifiers. Any D-ring can also be used to attach name tags.
We put extra effort into providing the best possible carrying experience. The length of the carry handles keep the bag snugly at a comfortable carry height, offering good control. Each end features a hauling handle to allow comfortable lifting during transport. Six steel D-rings are used to attach the included adjustable shoulder strap, offering various orientations to suit personal taste. The D-rings are also the attachment points for the optional padded shoulder straps.
MODULAR AND ADAPTABLE
The strips of loop inside the main compartment and side pouch lid accept various hook-to-loop attachable accessories, pouches and organizers. This allows you to customize your bag according to your preferences, or build it into a specialized tool kit for what ever work you need it for.
The closed cell foam padding inside the zippered lid and bottom of the bag can easily be removed, replaced or reinforced. This allows the end-user to easily adapt the bag with added padding or plastic sheet inserts if that extra level of protection or padding is needed.
The Keikka series of bags can utilize an optional (sold separately) padded clip-on backpack harness. During backpack carry the closed cell foam padding inside the lid provides a basic level of comfort against your back, even when carrying nasty junk in the bag. When backpack carrying a bag like this it needs to be as un-uncomfortable as possible, let’s face it – this will never be near as comfortable as an actual backpack. Instead of building our bags with unergonomic, overly long carry handles that double up as shoulder straps we decided to make this a separate option for those who really need it, allowing us to properly purpose build each carry option for the intended function.
HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION
The Keikka series of bags are made to endure a long life of service. The carry handles are made from a single length of 2" (50 mm) wide webbing which wraps around the bottom of the bag, sandwiched in between two layers of 1000D Cordura. Stress points are reinforced with double stitching and seams are finished with binding tape to prevent fraying. All load carrying buckles are steel, and will probably outlast the rest of the bag.
The majority of materials we use for our commercial production are the same which we use in equipment for the Finnish Defense Forces and other defense and security clients. Our most commonly used fabric in load carrying equipment is extremely wear resistant 1000D Cordura, as per FDF specs, with polyurethane coating on the inside. The webbing and edge tape we use are, again as per FDF specs, strong polyester webbing in various widths and thicknesses for different applications.

Really heavy duty, have about 25-30 kg of tools in my bag as a tool bag. No problem!
Great space for a tools too, nice with an extra compartments and a big separate pouch.
Seems a great product overall - delighted by the low weight. Have not really put its strength to the test yet , but the design seems well thought through. One thing I would appreciate is to include e.g. brightly coloured cords attached to the top lid zipper sliders. I is hard to find the sliders when the lighting is not very bright. (I bought the all-black version)

Your suggestion about adding brightly coloured cords to the top lid zipper sliders is a very good one. We understand how this could make a real difference in low-light conditions, especially on the all-black version. While we don’t currently offer coloured zipper cords in our webstore, it’s certainly something we’ll keep in mind for future product updates or accessories.
In the meantime, brightly coloured cords or zipper pulls are widely available from other outdoor or hardware dealers, and many customers find these easy to add themselves as a simple and effective solution.

Keikka 30L has been my trustworthy weekender bag for quite some time now and it hasn't let me down. Build quality is supreme to any other bags I own (and I have a plenty of those). I recently bought the "Kahakka backpack harness" for this bag and it makes it even more versatile to carry it in my back if I don't want to take my "Jääkäri M" backpack for some reason. Side pocket is actually quite big and can be filled what ever stuff you need. I have iPad for a reference but regular 0.5 litres bottles fit as well. Trinket pouches add extra space / storage options (e.g. phone charger etc.). Overall very well made bag that doesn't leave much to wish for.
Bought Keikka duffel 30L to use as a gym bag. So I've been looking for a backpack/duffel that I can use for photography and the duffel was right in front of my eyes. Keikka Duffel 30l fits incredibly well as a camera duffel/backpack. Together with Peak Design's camera cubes, All cubes fit, Large I have to push a little extra to fit. I have the most durable duffel you can possibly use. And the duffel will last a lifetime
Superbly built and logically laid out bag for a multitude of uses. So far mine is my new gym bag but I am sure it will get pressed into service on some adventures this summer.
I've been using the 30L Keikka for over 2 years now. It is by far the best bag I've owned and travels with me wherever a single Savotta backpack is not enough. By using additional straps I regularly use it as a top bag on my motorcycle which is easy to take off and does not hinder me when I ride like a backpack would. Nice compartments on the inside and great quality materials.

Sturdy and solid bag that has good overall design and options for organizing stuff. I added 6x4 Pals front panel (Särmä TST PC18) on the end of the bag to attach some extra pouches on it. You can do it without sewing with elastic cord and a toggle.
Ollut -21 vuodesta asti ahkerassa käytössä käytännössä joka viikonloppu. Matkustus- ja kameralaukkuna koko on täydellinen. Ja erityisen sopivana pidän tätä kameralaukuksi, sillä erään valmistajan ICU kamerainsertit sopivat kuin tehtynä tähän laukkuun. Organisointi todella helppoa laukun muodon ja suuren aukon takia. Ahkerasta käytöstä huolimatta kuluneisuutta ei ole havaittavissa.
Olisin toivonut, että sivutasku olisi päädyssä, kuten 50L versiossa (jonka myös omistan), painojakauman takia. Pieni vinkki vetoketjujen vetimiin, että suosittelen paracord narusta tms tekemään vetimen jatkeet, niin löytää ne vetimet helpommin liepeen alta varsinkin hanskojen kanssa.
Ja Kahakka repun olkaviilekkeet sopivat tähän täydellisesti ;)
The quality of material and sewing is great, but colours do not match. I ordered the brown bag and the label says brown too, but it is actually much more olive than brown. However not as green as the „green“ version. I need to check that again tomorrow in daylight, but if I get the same color impression I will probably sent it back to your reseller. I wsnted something that is not black and doesn‘t look too military, so this olive green tone is exactly what I don‘t want.

I've been using the Savotta Keikka 30L for about two months now, primarily for travel and gym use, and I must say—it lives up to Savotta’s reputation for high-quality, military-grade gear.
Build & Design
The first thing that stands out is the excellent craftsmanship. The materials, stitching, and zippers are all rugged and durable, which is exactly what you'd expect from a brand like Savotta. The overall design is both stylish and functional.
Capacity & Organization
Although it's 30L, it feels bigger than it looks. I've even managed to fit an entire Monopoly board game inside, which speaks volumes about its spaciousness. The mesh pockets inside are surprisingly durable, holding up well even with frequent use.
Comfort & Carry
The biggest drawback is the lack of padding on the strap. When carrying it for long periods, it gets uncomfortable, and a padded shoulder protector would make a big difference. I've used it both as a shoulder bag and a duffel, and while it’s versatile, padded straps would improve the experience significantly.
Overall Verdict
What I love most about the Keikka 30L is how spacious, stylish, and practical it is. The only real downside is the uncomfortable strap, which could be improved with some padding.

As much as I loved the bag because it is an all-rounder that you can use in the gym, groceries, and work, I think there are still room for improvement. A better waterproof lining when it comes to durability and a shoulder strap cushion would be nice for heavier loads. Nevertheless, I think this is still an awesome bag
I love this duffel! It’s great for clothes and travel sure, but it really does great to carry camera gear too. Using the Keikka with the trinket pouches to organize light meter/film/batteries is an awesome solution. Plus the top opening provides great access to the whole load.
